Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of D'arc Adder ("we", "us", "the platform"), including browsing artist storefronts, placing orders for custom temporary tattoo products, and related features. The platform is operated from Montréal, QC, Canada. For this UK launch, our storefront and checkout are aimed at customers in the United Kingdom. Questions: tattd@darcadder.com.
Acceptance
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
What we do
D'arc Adder provides temporary tattoo production, checkout and payment processing, fulfillment coordination, and tools for independent artists to run storefronts. Artists using the platform are independent creators, not employees or agents of D'arc Adder. We are not a permanent tattoo studio and we are not a marketplace for booking tattoo appointments.
Products
Orders are for custom temporary tattoo sheets made from designs you select. Designs may come from tattoo artists or other artists. How a design looks on screen, on the sheet, or on skin can vary with display settings, skin tone, placement, application, and the print process.
Tattoo tickets
Some listings offer a tattoo ticket instead of, or alongside, temporary tattoo products. A tattoo ticket is a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the selected artwork as a permanent tattoo. The seller may be a tattoo artist, illustrator, or other independent artist.
- A tattoo ticket does not transfer copyright or ownership in the artwork.
- It does not book an appointment, include tattooing services, set the final tattoo price, or guarantee that any tattoo artist will accept the design.
- You are responsible for checking with the tattoo artist you plan to visit before buying or using the ticket.
- The tattoo artist may make small practical changes for placement, sizing, line weight, or tattoo feasibility.
Orders
You choose designs, sizes, and variations as shown at checkout. Each order is custom prepared after payment. Digital tattoo ticket purchases provide immediate digital access after payment. Orders cannot be cancelled after payment has succeeded except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. If something is wrong with your order, contact us at tattd@darcadder.com.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in GBP. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We may change prices at any time before you complete a purchase; the price at checkout applies to that order.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate shipping information.
- Review your selections before you pay.
- Use the product only as intended.
- Do not misuse the site, scrape content, interfere with our services, or use them for fraud.
Designs and intellectual property
Designs belong to their artists or other rights holders. Buying a product gives you the physical temporary tattoo items you ordered. Buying a tattoo ticket gives you only the personal tattoo-use licence described above. Neither purchase gives you copyright or other ownership in the artwork.
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Place fraudulent orders or abuse chargebacks.
- Harass artists or our support team.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute designs outside what your purchase allows.
Disclaimer
A temporary tattoo is a cosmetic / wearable art product. It may help you visualise a design or placement, but it does not guarantee how a future permanent tattoo would look. Permanent results depend on the artist, ink, placement, healing, and many other factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, our liability for delays, fulfilment issues, third party outages (such as payment or shipping providers), or indirect or consequential loss is limited as appropriate for consumer transactions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory UK or other law. Final wording may be adjusted with legal counsel.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version will be posted on the site with an updated date. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance, as allowed by law.
Governing law
We operate from Canada and sell to UK customers. Which law and courts apply to disputes should be confirmed with legal counsel before launch; this section may be updated once that is decided.
