This Privacy Policy describes how D'arc Adder ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website, buy products, or operate an artist account. We are based in Montréal, QC, Canada. Contact: tattd@darcadder.com.

Data we collect from customers

- Email address
- Shipping address
- Order contents and related details
- Payment and transaction metadata from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)

- Name and display name
- Email address
- Storefront slug and profile information you provide
- Designs and other content you upload
- Stripe Connect onboarding and payout status
- Earnings and payout ledger information
- Support messages
Data collected automatically
- Technical logs needed to run and secure the service
- IP address and device or browser information where applicable
- Session and security data (for example to keep you signed in or protect accounts)
- Cart or session cookies or similar storage strictly needed for checkout and basket continuity
Cookies and tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies or storage for the cart, checkout, sign-in, and security. We also use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms) to measure the performance of our advertising. The Meta Pixel may collect information such as pages you visit, actions you take on the site (for example signing up or creating a storefront), your IP address, and device or browser information, and may set cookies to do so. This data is shared with Meta and processed according to Meta's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about and manage Meta's use of your data through your Meta ad preferences. If we add further analytics or marketing tracking later, we will update this notice and any consent mechanics as required.

Service providers
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf, including: Stripe (payments and Stripe Connect for artist payouts), Supabase (database, authentication, storage, application backend), Resend (transactional email), Printify (production, fulfilment, shipping), and Vercel (hosting and deployment). They only receive what they need to provide their service.
Sharing and sales
We share personal data only where needed for payment, fulfilment, hosting, email delivery, support, or legal compliance. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries outside the UK, including Canada and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses) as defined under applicable law at the time.
Retention
We keep order and account records for as long as needed to run the service, meet tax and accounting rules, handle disputes, and prevent fraud. You may ask for deletion where applicable, but we may retain certain information when the law or legitimate business needs require it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact tattd@darcadder.com. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Children
Our product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. The site is not directed at very young children. Account and purchase age rules may be tightened as we finalise policy with counsel.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the last updated date above.
